Splendid’s story began in 2001 in the Netherlands, during one of Europe’s defining eras for electronic dance music. Originally established as an event organizer and artist management company, Splendid built its foundation through club events, dance events, international artist bookings and entertainment projects across the European market.
In 2010, the journey expanded to Indonesia, beginning on the Island of the Gods — Bali. Combining European industry experience with a growing understanding of the Asian entertainment market, the company gradually established a strong network throughout Indonesia.
In 2015, Jakarta became the main base for the company’s Asian operations and Splendid Asia began its next chapter.
During this period, Splendid Asia became involved in international artist bookings, club events, festivals and entertainment projects throughout Indonesia. One of its early milestones was its involvement with Dreamfields Festival Bali in 2015.
The company went on to organize and collaborate on numerous events in Jakarta and Bali, working alongside clubs, promoters, brands and organizations including Dream Club Indonesia (DCI), Lamborghini Club, Casio, and many others.
In 2016, Splendid Asia received the Paranoia Award for Best Event Organizer / Club EO of the Year, presented by Hard Rock FM, marking an important recognition within Indonesia’s electronic dance music industry.
ARTIST MANAGEMENT & INTERNATIONAL AGENCY
In 2017, Splendid Asia expanded its focus by developing its dedicated Artist Management division.
Rather than focusing solely on bookings, the company introduced a long-term approach to artist development — combining career strategy, branding, music, content, national bookings and international touring.
Over the years, Splendid Asia has grown into an international artist agency and management company, connecting artists, promoters, clubs and festivals across Indonesia, Southeast Asia and international markets.
Its expanding artist network has included talents such as Moski Love, Maretta, Verra V, Hannah X, Alyshia, K3nji, PEI, Nobilee, Casper Yu, KING ET, Pink Panda, alongside other Indonesian and international artists.
The company continues to focus on exclusive artist management, international representation, tour exchanges, collaborations and multi-country artist routing.
SPLENDID ACADEMY
In 2019, the company launched Splendid Academy Jakarta, creating a platform to transfer years of professional entertainment-industry experience to the next generation.
The Academy provides training and development across areas including DJing, MC/Hypeman performance, music production and artist development.
More than simply an educational platform, Splendid Academy has become part of the company’s talent-development system — creating a pathway for emerging talent to progress from education into professional artist management and performance opportunities.
One of its success stories is Maretta, who began her journey through Splendid Academy and developed into a professional recording and touring artist, later receiving an AMI Awards nomination in 2026.
SPLENDID WORLDWIDE
Splendid further expanded its entertainment ecosystem with the establishment of Splendid Worldwide, its music label and release platform.
The label provides another avenue for artists, producers and collaborators to develop and release original music while connecting music production with artist management and international promotion.
Together, the Agency, Management, Academy and Label allow Splendid to participate in multiple stages of an artist’s career — from discovering and developing talent to releasing music, building brands and creating national and international touring opportunities.
INTERNATIONAL NETWORK
International development has remained part of Splendid’s identity since its beginnings in Europe.
From its main operations in Jakarta, the company has expanded its presence and network through Bangkok, Perth, Kuala Lumpur and Amsterdam, strengthening connections between Indonesia, Southeast Asia, Australia and Europe.
The establishment of its Australia presence in Perth and Thailand operations in Bangkok further strengthened Splendid’s ability to develop international bookings and multi-country touring opportunities.
Bangkok has become an important regional connection point for Thailand and surrounding Southeast Asian markets, while Amsterdam continues to connect the company with its European roots and international electronic music network.
Since 2019, Splendid has also maintained an active presence around Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), connecting its Asian network with one of the world’s most important electronic music industry gatherings.
