Electrooby is undoubtedly one of the most talented DJs and EDM producers Indonesia has ever seen in the recent years. Accomplished musician since his earliest days, Oby won a remix contest by the legendary DJ Riri Mestica, back in 2014. Later, Riri became his mentor and one of the persons who influenced Oby most, as he joined Riri’s prestigious Spinach Records.
In 2016, Oby successfully placed himself in the last TOP 5 of The Remix Season II, a DJ reality show airing on Indonesia’s most popular NET TV. Inspirations come easily to Oby – from 2014 to 2018, this next-door-kid has grown into a big name, respected by the EDM and mainstream music communities alike. He further enchanced his collab with his own mentor, Riri, creating an electronic duo called R.R.O.B. His works, as single producer, DJ and also under the R.R.O.B. moniker are highly sought after, the duet partners include Norwegian-born singer Annemette Hauglum and Indonesia’s Atta Hallilintar to name a few.
Starring in international festivals as well as rocking any kinds of club rooms big and small, Oby’s multifaceted talents don’t stop there – he can play any genres and please any kind of crowd.
